Adoption of village
Every three years college adopts a new village and takes up the task of development perspective. In regard to this NSS volunteers works for propagation of the message of Cleanliness, Digital literacy, free medical camps, conducting social and economical survey, awareness about drinking, smoking, aids, literacy campaign, cleaning schools and temple premises at the village.
A Special Camping Programme is organized every year at the adopted village for 7 days. In these 7 days NSS volunteers perform different activities in the village and camp area such a
- Volunteers and teachers worked together to clean the premises of the Z. P. Marathi School (GOVT.) Tajpuri, where the camp was held. All volunteers and teachers collected litter, Plastic cups and other waste ensuring that the entire area was clean and tidy.
- All the camp participants, along with volunteers, engaged in cleaning the surroundings of the village panchayat, temples, and bus stops by collecting trash, sweeping, and maintaining hygiene. Throughout the day, students raised awareness about cleanliness in the village. Discussions were held on how self-reliance and self-motivation can be nurtured among students.
- On the occasion of Birth anniversary of the great Maratha King Shivaji maharaj various trees like Mango, Tamarind, Guava and Lemon were planted at various locations in the village.
- As a part of the School Beautification initiative volunteers adorned the premises of Government school with colorful decorations for enhancing the school’s appearance.
- During these 7 day lectures were conducted on different topics like Disaster management, Health, Environment, Water management and Rural development.
Digital Financial Literacy Program
Around 62% of India’s population today lives in rural areas and small towns and giving them financial literacy remains a constant battle for the Government and the fintech companies. To help bridge this gap, Godhatma will train people in poor, rural areas in digital financial literacy, increasing their knowledge, confidence and ability to successfully use financial services. As part of this program high school students of Elite school will know how to do digital payment and online transaction of UPI( unified payment service) and Banking Services like Account Opening , Types of accounts in bank, Neft, LOAN Process, Fixed Deposit, Govt.scheme in banks.
Nurturing Nature Program
As we know the importance of trees in the age of Global warming our institution plants trees every year and nurtures them. For this purpose we plant trees with the help of Grampanchayat in school campus as well as places near villages. For nurturing these plants students are encouraged to look after them.

National Service Scheme Program is India’s largest youth movement, a noble experiment in academic expansion. It includes the spirit of voluntary work among the student’s and teacher’s sustained community interaction.
